Most of them draw from the same period of her career and have the same atrocious lack of any documentation whatsover, offering no information on session personnel, recording dates or even songwriting writing credits. Quicksilver's TWENTY GOLDEN PIECES doesn't even get the order of the titles right, offering the same incorrect song list on the disc face, tray card and booklet. On top of that, some of the cuts sound like they were literally dubbed off of LPs, and not particularly clean LPs at that. All of which is too bad, because the song selection is particularly good. Cline's first recordings were made for Four Star between 1955 and 1960; the balance of her work was done for Decca between 1960 and her untimely death in 1963.
